Shonan Takatori House (Final)✨

This is the final article about our "lively" new house construction project in Yokosuka City's Shonan Takatori suburb. It has been about three years since our first consultation with the property owner. We were relieved that our company was able to successfully hand over the new house, then quickly thereafter apply for an inspection by the U.S. Navy Base Housing Office and finally conclude a rental contract. 😊 Here are some photographs of the bar counter in the kitchen that was described in our previous article... The result was absolutely beautiful! Also, as we mentioned last time, the walls will be covered with "Ecocarat" to improve the design. (* Note: Ecocarat is an interior wall finishing material that has humidity control, deodorizing, and adsorption functions.) We look forward to seeing how future tenants will use this wall! It would look even better if air plants were hung or some ornamental plants placed nearby, and paintings/photos might also be displayed. We are excited to imagine how nice it would be to arrange bottles of wine and other decorative things there. The kitchen has more than enough storage space! When we've looked at overseas kitchen designs for study purposes, we were always amazed to see that many of them are even larger than the one in our new Takatori house. Also, the pantry and laundry/washroom can be accessed from the kitchen, making housework easy. ◎ The living/dining/kitchen (LDK) area is also spacious! The adjustable shelves next to the living room door can also be used in a variety of fascinating ways. Lights shining down from above illuminate the storage area. The height of the shelves can be freely changed. A ceiling fan is installed in the living/dining room to ensure air conditioning spreads throughout the large space. The refrigerator cannot be seen from the living room, so it doesn't give the impression of being a work-type area. There is also ample space next to the refrigerator, so you can neatly store things you want to hide, such as a trash can. From the large living/dining/kitchen (LDK) room you can also see out to another spacious area -- the garden (yard)! If you have small children they can enjoy playing in a swimming pool, and of course you can enjoy BBQs! There is also a sturdy storage shed that is large enough to store outdoor equipment. Next is the stylish decorative handrail, which is also one of the selling points of this property. It makes a strong presence in the spacious entrance hall! The stairs are also wide, making it easy to bring in large American-made furniture. This project was very satisfying for both the property owner and his lively family. We also enjoyed working on it. Our company intends to take good care of the house so that it can be protected and passed on to future generations, as it is a precious property inherited from the owner's parents. We believe that the future occupants will also enjoy their stay with a smile on their face! Thank you very much.
