Shonan Takatori, located in the northernmost part of Yokosuka City, is a quiet residential area that was developed in the 1960s and 1970s by cutting through the ridges and valleys around Takatori Mountain. It is a neat residential area on a hill with a good view, and is safe because of the relatively wealthy people living there.
